Employee Benefits
The employer keeps their employees
happy with benefits that help, and at the same time saving
the employer dollars. These programs would include Section
125 cafeteria plans, flexible spending accounts, and the all
new Health Reimbursement Arrangements and Health Savings Accounts.
The cafeteria section 125 plan
is designed to reduce taxes for both your company and your
employees. There is little or no cost for the cafeteria section
125 plan.
Cafeteria section 125 plans
permits employees to pay for benefits through pre-tax deductions
from their paychecks. Normally, no change in your existing
benefit package is necessary. These pre-tax deductions have
the effect of lowering the employee's taxable income. Consequently,
the tax liability is reduced for both employees and your company.
It's easy. We handle the installation and administration of
the program. We'll be glad to explain how it works. For more
information, contact us today.
The Health Reimbursement Arrangement
is a way for the employer to reduce the group health cost
of group health insurance. This concept allows the employer
to provide dollars to employees for the small healthcare needs
and allows the employer to raise the deductibles on the group
health plans so that premiums go down. The money's not used
by the employee can optionally stay in the hands of the employer.
The concept of Health
Savings Accounts (HSA) combines an affordable qualified High
Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and a tax favored health savings
account (HSA). The combination results in savings through
lower health care premiums and a reduction in taxable income.
The HSA grows tax-deferred, and if you use your HSA funds
for eligible medical expenses, you
never have to pay taxes on those funds!
